Jo Downs Master Class - Launceston

We are thrilled to invite you to a special opportunity to enhance your artistic skills. Jo Downs will be holding a series of exclusive master class workshops at our Launceston HQ.
These intimate sessions, limited to just 8 participants, will guide you through creating a bespoke piece of fused glass art using Jo's unique techniques developed over 30 years.
Having previously participated in our Glass Fusing workshop, you are now ready to take your artistry to the next level. Join us for a day of inspiration and creativity, and craft a piece that is truly your own. Secure your spot now and be part of this extraordinary experience.
All materials and tools are provided to make a 40cm x 40cm piece of glass art which can be finished as a dish, wall panel or XL Art Frame (extra £60 for the XL Art Frame payable on the day). Items made at the workshops can be posted at an additional cost if required.
Duration: 10.00 am meet at our Launceston Gallery for a 10:30 am start, finishing at approximately 4:30 pm
Workshop size: 8 people
Criteria: Participants must have attended a Glass Fusing Workshop at either our Launceston or Sunningdale Galleries before booking this Master Class.

Please note due to the size and nature of the workshops we unfortunately can not accommodate pets or spectators during the sessions. No alcohol can be consumed on-site.

I'm an avid Jo Downs fan, so to be given a voucher for a day workshop was lovely. Our experienced wonderful teacher Ruth was so patient with all eight that were in the class. Very well equipped with everything at hand. One tip would be to have a couple of of design ideas that you would like to make.

Had the most amazing day! In the morning, we learnt so much about different glass mediums and experimented in a friendly, supportive, purpose built workspace. The afternoon was spent designing and making our own piece. Our group all did something different and when we collected them after firing, we were delighted with the result! A fun day for friends and family to be creative together! Worth every penny! Thank you Ruth!

Ruth the artist/teacher is very informative knowledgeable and fun to be with. We thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and learned a lot.
Never having done anything with glass it was well worth giving it a go with the result that I have booked 4 places in Sunningdale. I can highly recommend this workshop.
