    Brilliant day

Had an amazing day, I have no crafting experience at all but loved the workshop. Ruth explained everything really well. Can’t wait to go to another one!

    Loved this!

I had this bought for a birthday present and had a fabulous day. The instruction was excellent, as was the degree of freedom to be creative. It was a day of forgetting everything outside and just enjoying making.

    Fun and enjoyable day

It was a really fun day and I learnt a lot. Ruth is a great teacher and very helpful in making your design come to life - I was very happy with the result.

It is definitely worth having an idea of what you want to make beforehand, and even bring some pictures along for reference, although there is lots of reference material you can use if you don't.

There are charts all around the room of how the glass looks before and after firing. Ruth kept referring to these and they are essential to use for guidance as the colours and shapes can change considerably in colour and texture. I found that extremely helpful.

Highly recommended, would definitely do again.

Great way to spend a day

The workshop was a birthday present for my daughter and we attended one run by Ruth in August. Whilst I enjoy crafting I was a little apprehensive as I had zero experience. I needn’t have worried as the class was really well done. Ruth was an excellent tutor, she gave advice when needed, but she also let us work independently if that was our choice. I learnt lots of new skills and produced a lovely piece of glass that I am quite proud of. My daughter loved it.
