This project, one of several commissioned by P&O Cruiseliners, is arguably Jo’s most spectacular structural installations and is currently on show to thousands of travellers on the luxury cruise ship ‘Arcadia’.

To create a stunning and suspended feature lighting installation for the almost triple height entrance stairwell, without impeding the view of the bay.

The design was developed from the clients wish to replicate the swirling effect of a shoal of fish. In total 125 individually designed and hand cut fish were created in a stunning aqua colourway. Each fish was fused on a mould to create a curve, reflecting the movement of shoaling fish and suspended from a specially fabricated, stainless steel pole. Because Seaways is so light inside, this striking installation catches the natural light in the day, and at night when lit casts a beautiful glow throughout the space.
