This project, one of several commissioned by P&O Cruiseliners, is arguably Jo’s most spectacular structural installations and is currently on show to thousands of travellers on the luxury cruise ship ‘Arcadia’.

The brief, for a stunning backlit feature ceiling above the ship’s central stairwell, required Jo to design and make a multi-piece glass installation spanning a total of 11 metres.

Working closely with the client’s structural engineers, this work was created precisely to specification and laminated to meet safety standards. The work was designed to reflect the vivid beauty of the world’s oceans, and to complement the Arcadia’s richly textured, luxury interior finish.
