University College London Hospital: Institute of Sports, Exercise and Health, Tottenham Court Road, London. The ISEH is a collaboration between leading health, academic and sports organisations – UCLH, UCL, British Olympic Association, English Institute of Sport and private hospital group HCA - which have come together to provide patients with the level of care and expertise only previously available to elite sports men and women.

To create a large scale architectural installation in the foyer of the UCLH to enhance the space and inspire students and clients.

From several concept sketch ideas the final free flowing design was agreed upon. Jo took inspiration for “Whirlpool” from the organic and elemental forms created by the Cornish coastline. Individual organic shapes created a rich bed of textures and colour focussing on hues of green and blue. Using advanced fusion techniques Jo has created an installation of great movement and reflection.
