This beautiful installation artwork was commissioned for luxury accommodation overlooking the Camel Estuary at Padstow in Cornwall. This installation launched the iconic Shoaling Fish collections which are now synonymous with Jo Downs.

The brief on this occasion was unusually broad, with the client asking Jo simply to design and make a bespoke artwork which would complement the location and design of this elegant, architect designed retreat.

The resulting low relief, shoaling fish design is made up of almost one hundred handcrafted pieces. Each glass fish is wall mounted using our own custom made chrome fittings, meaning that the entire installation can be easily removed when required, either for redecoration of the wall or relocation of the artwork.
